"Consultant" is a profession. 

It is about serving in a humble way companies with strategic or tactical advice or even implementation work. 

The concept is often slightly deformed towards an outsourcing of functions that should normally be on a payroll. Jumping the river requires some decent care to mitigate the risks and avoid uncontrolled stress. 

We will visit important questions such as:

• do I really want to become a consultant long term ?
• who will feed me with recognition ?
• daily risk and mitigations
• how will I manage my growth ?
• how should I prepare for the jump ?
• what is my gear made of ?
• rates, margin and other nasty topics
• selling myself, in the Swiss ecosystem
